Our Web Design Process

Step 1. Find out what you need

Let's first find out what kind of website and features you'll need. Will the website be simply for providing information for your users so they can contact you? Or did you need to sell products and/or services directly on the website? Do you need us to host your website?

To make sure everything stays on schedule once we've initiated your project, it will help to have any assets needed for the website launch to be ready for us to use. This will include your logo, any critical login information, images, text, blog content, and more.

Step 2. Review proposal and contract

Once we've decided what you're looking for and ready to start building, we'll fire off a project proposal outlining expectations, timeline, costs and any additional items for you to review, along with a project contract that will need to be signed and sent back.

Once that's all completed, you'll receive your first invoice, which will be 50% of the total project fees to be paid as a deposit to initiate the project development.

Step 3. Invitation to connect for collaboration

Once the contracts signed and deposit paid, you will be invited to join a project management dashboard and messaging service to stay in contact with us during the development phase of your project. If you don't want to though, that's totally fine, email works great with us too!

Lastly, you'll be provided with a link to a Google Drive or Dropbox projects folder where we will be sharing any assets needed for the website. We prefer using a cloud drive over sending files by email as sometimes items may get lost in a sea of email threads.

Step 4. Revisions and deployment

We'll usually start by getting the framework and design signed off by your first. Once you're satisfied with how the overall theme (colors, typography, structure) looks, that will be the design we'll be moving forward with. We provide as many minor revisions as needed to ensure that the project on launch its your vision.

Once all of the revisions have been signed off by you and the website is ready to launch, we'll send you the final invoice for the remaining 50% to finish the contract. Once it's paid, we'll deploy the website and do standard house-keeping tasks to make sure everything works as intended.
